Yeah, I didn’t love how the Goldberg kids are being compressed together in age. I also thought Erica was graduating this year, but apparently next year she’ll be a senior, Adam will be a freshman, and Barry, what? A junior, I guess. They could have had Erica graduate and decide to go to Penn or other local university

They only come out in the night. Or in this case, the daytime.

The only flexidisc I remember having was the REM song (Dark Globe) that came in an issue of Sassy Magazine. I put that song a *lot* of mixtapes in high school.

I bet Mary T Quigley still has the costume from when Roseanne dressed up as a man for one of the Halloween episodes, convincing everyone at the Lobo…including Crystal! I've watched wayyyy too much Roseanne.

I prefer Judd Hirsch as the cranky grandfather (Murray's father) in The Goldbergs.

Not to mention the ones we've still never seen- Sheldon's brother, and Leonard's siblings, the ones his mother actually likes.

I don't think Grandfathered was one of their favorites. Two out of the last three episodes didn't even get reviewed.

At least Grinder had the opportunity to acknowledge in its final scene that they knew the show was on thin ice. Grandfathered ended in pretty much a cliffhanger.

Same here! For some reason, just could never get into New Girl. The last couple of weeks, I’ve been watching Fresh off the Boat & Real O’Neals on ABC, DVRing Grandfathered to watch at 9, and then Grinder live.

I know it does sound like a creation of the "everyone gets a trophy" generation, but we had a Valedictorian (and a Salutatorian) of my 8th grade class, and that was 30 years ago.

And also the Encyclopedia Brown books were super popular back in the 80's, so that's another kid detective.

I am disappointed the reviews for this show got so spotty at the end. Nothing for episode 20 (“Jimmy’s 50th, Again”) and apparently, nothing for the season finale, which may have very well been the series finale.

The Ty Burrell Realtor commercial also ran directly before MF-almost as if it were part of the show! It was pretty obvious and lame, which made Gloria’s line about a real estate agent and a Realtor being “different…somehow,” actually funny.

That particular episode was really good, and I was also disappointed not to get a review here.

And it was weird that two shows I watch included squatter-related storylines this week (Silicon Valley was the other).

His time spent around America Ferrera must have had a good influence on him.

Peridot (August) is pretty lame, too. Just a washed-out pale green. If my mother could have held me in a couple more weeks, I would have sapphire.

Damn, how did I not know the DVDs had been discontinued until now? True, I gave up on purchasing them around Season 9 or 10, but I didn't even realize they stopped doing them. I haven't watched most of them, it's more just for the collection, but I always assumed I'd be able to catch up and get all the rest someday.

When Brett crashed the car, am I the only person who thought “Brett and Michelle are going to die and Tina & Alex will get married and raise the kids as their own!” Probably a little dark, but if the writers had known this was going to be the final
episode anyway, it might have been an interesting direction to take.

Yeah, that was weird. Even when they came from the hospital, Sophie was the one who opened the door to come in the house. I would think, just having broken her arms, she wouldn’t have been able to do that, or at the minimum it would have been extremely painful to do so. But she didn’t even cringe.
