Considering it’s critical acclaim and sales, that isn’t true. If only diehard Metroid fans cared it’d be just like the others, this game had actual hype.
No li, the very first time I played the original game I made it out alive with everyone. I maxed out my Paragon, keep my relationships strong, and unlike everyone else on the planet apparently, I actually like scanning planets and had more than enough resources to make it through.
Metroid Dread was not in development for 20 years. It was cancelled along time, ago and then when they decided to make a new game, they went with that name. I love the game and am a massive Metroid fan, but that’s just not true.
Can’t argue against safe sex, but conceptually this is really stupid and people are really stupid.

The idea that people don’t pirate just because getting stuff for free is better than paying and they want free stuff is the one of the biggest lies consistently told on the Internet.
