Because they are the ones who take on the responsibility (literally outlined in their agreement with the studio).

Not shocked in any capacity, if a private company is making new ways to pay it’s going to usually be to increase the rev for them. It may be more affordable for the person, but it is still going to cost more than if they took the longer lease, or bought the car (if we are talking about usage and such).

The question becomes, since it is the only true way the systems will be able to safely operate, what happens if all cars are driverless, would traffic cops/laws need to exist? All of them issues usually stem from the variables of meatbag drivers.

And that would be fine, if they are a union of franchise owners they could make the collective change and wouldn’t be subject to WARN act requirements. But they are doing this as a political stunt/statement trying to pressure the state to roll back minimum wage laws. Lets say you were making min wage working in an

Living within the city might be a stretch, but the question is what level of comfort should the adult working at a McDonalds be allowed if the location they are in is expensive? What is a fair commute length?

They aren’t even entry level anymore. You see all sorts doing delivery, some may even be doing it as retirees because they need money. The myth the companies have pushed for decades is that these are jobs for students, which makes sense if the places were closed during the day and school sessions.

I wonder if it’s a binary choice? Same boat, no porn but they do have lotto tickets.

I thought that too... until I realized that in my former office only a small handful owned their homes yet a bunch had model 3s. Some rented homes so they could theoretically charge there if the house had a spare 220 outlet for a level 2 charger, most of them just charged at the office. But many lived in apartments

I think the idea is that they have dominance in an area but, similar to a gas station, the main format still requires massive infrastructure work if you’re going to have a lot of them in a spot.

That would be my bad forgot the paper cited. But yeah, that place uses fresh seafoods so if something goes out of season or shifts in demand/supply I would imagine the menus are updated almost daily. Some of the really nice places I’ve been have daily printed menus, one even uses a chalk board for specials and market

That is the other thing, if they have a fixed price on the menu that is weird. Normally that stuff is always market rate.

Since we also don’t know what sugar they use, there is also the risk of it using bone char (made from cattle bones). It’s not as common now in the supermarket but large scale would still use it since it’s cheaper.

I don’t touch those chocolates, but does dark normally contain dairy product?

It also may be (depending on the place) that the supply has dramatically risen in price. Dungeness crab on the west coast took a major jump a few years back due to disease ended up making the supply dwindle.

There is literally one situation where it is cheaper to eat food not prepared at home. It’s when time is such a scare commodity you literally do not have time (such as those working multiple jobs) to prepare food and may not even have a kitchen to work with. It is the most extreme situation where you will see it at

Places have been combating it with extra plate fees for people who split, for decades now. The servers hate it because people will (if they tip at all) only tip on the single dish even if the server is serving multiple people. Places hate it because it’s less rev per table.

Don’t forget they also were unpaid (at least by McDonalds) to promote them.

SoCal here, there is one thing better. Telling your coworkers on video calls how it’s bright sunny and in the high 70's while they are dealing with snow.

Unless people start showing them being used in the field, I am going to guess this is public relations to highlight they did something and there is a decent chance they will end up being used either in outreach stuff or just sold off. Similar to how Dubai was saying they gave their police Ferraris or whatnot. The

Other than the traditional ones where they are staffed, usually the automated ones or 24 hour ones are considered passive because the owner doesn’t need to physically be there at all time/ever and they just hire a few people to cover operations, provide customer service, etc. They most likely aren’t actually out there
