Those are people who likely only have eaten it at chain places or Italian-American places where they did cheat ways.

And also doesn’t contain cream (if they were making a traditional alfredo).
It’s not even that old of a dish since it was from WWII, but the ancient dish it is based on could be considered more protected. Granted, we are talking about cultures who are heavily protective of dishes to the point that small changes like pancetta for guanciale will spark fights.
But that is where you have the conflict, if they make films shorter won’t you have consumers angry that they aren’t getting as much content for their money? It’s similar to how people will use the argument “bad food, small portions”.
Not sure I would include the butter balls, they appear to have severe shelf-life issues resulting in almost universal one star reviews. Their scores seem to be propped up by a few 5 stars, including some dude who just eats them out of the package.
Is it the time though? I mean if you’re having to drop about $15 to go see a movie on a normal screen on a Monday morning and have it go up from there, I would say the perceived value is more of the issue. This isn’t even factoring other related costs such as driving/transit, parking, food, etc.
I mean... probably but at the same time, I don’t know if I would want to have to shift creative direction and cinematography just so theaters can make more money which will not get back in mine or the studio’s pockets.
Yeah and a full bar with better quality food options. Also, no one is going to be looking at their phones in front of me with their brightness on full.
It’s a tough sell, premium + live service (and a subscription if you’re on console). Destiny potentially had additional problems with the game not meeting player expectations/not addressing issues in a timely enough manner for players, etc. but there is the aspect that content can be slow to come out, making it easier…
I genuinely have no idea how different the tests are in global tests. Someone else was commenting on how a global standard should exist but I wonder if at least some of them are more focused on scenarios which will happen in their regions.
If your population is too low, no amount of MMR is going to work and there is no way any live service would want to release their content for private servers (willingly at least).
Might be insurance related now. I am not sure if it’s in all states, but here in CA you need to have proof of insurance to register your car and if that car is a high risk for more disastrous crashes, then they may refuse to cover which would make it impossible to drive legally in the US.
No, they won’t buy it if the government says they can. Tell them they are banned and then leak how to get one and let nature take it’s course.
In the last... decade or so, there has been a rise in locations and even chains which are plastic/electronic payment only. Examples have been the amazon grocery store (I think it was the version before Fresh), Apple stores, some newer quick service chains, etc. As part of their model to speed up transactions, lower…
You forgot the other difficulty, using Ben and Jerry’s as the example. A company can be aligned with you morally when you start with them but then get bought up by another company and not always in a loud announcement.
That is one of the things we don’t talk about, there are no pools of entry level talent at most studios. They don’t hire them. There is a logic of “This is not a preschool”, so you end up with lots of struggles, especially for people early in careers.
The problem is that they cannot guarantee they will reach record-setting numbers with games and these are also just bursts of money at/before launch and usually that is about it. So you had 5+ years of spending for this game, no money coming in for most of it, and now you need that volume of cash to be large enough…
Are they still releasing games like that where it’s released with the intent of the dev team just releasing and tweaking/bugfix? An indie can do that, but it doesn’t make sense to go out with that plan since you just end up burning all your profit on keeping up the game with no chance of return so you can develop…
Plus, you have the issue that you want to have a healthy population on the servers. Your userbase drops dramatically when people have to pay to get in and your customers will not be happy if there are too few people to play with.
And he did manual labor to get that gold!
