I think he had a great shot at winning in the Philippines, but that challenge came up at the wrong time. Denise was certainly a worthy and deserving winner.

Absolutely agree with this. I was rooting for drunken master as well, even if we knew was going to lose as per the plot. It says a lot when you're not rooting for the MC. That def is the real crime that we could've had him instead as Danny. Would that have saved the show? Probably not, but the action sequences would've been tons better.
