It’s almost like Nissan has been lead by morons for the past 15 years and is paying for it now......

This is design hubris.

The beauty of the stalk is the ease of flicking it in one direction or the other without much thought. Those buttons have to be pushed very deliberately, which I assume would reduce utilization.

A company, whose sales and thus share price, would be dramatically affected by incentives, wouldn’t even approach that level? What?

I’ve always been surprised people weren’t much more upset that we had multiple congress-people buy large short positions in February and March pre shutdown. The ability to profit over the failure of an economy you have the capacity to essentially put on pause seemed wildly inappropriate to me.

That’s a great example to give because it helps to illustrate that we need to think of government influence as a corruption problem and not through the lens of the D vs R trash talk.

You should “give-a-fk”. Investing in to something when you’re in a political position is a great example of conflict of interest. If Tesla asks for something, and she votes yes, there’s no way of knowing if she honestly felt that was the right course of action, or if she’s pumping her own stock. If she helps pass

What the next round of EV incentives might look like, for one.

I guess I should have worded that differently. If you HAVE to fly that is one thing. OTOH if you’re some ordinary shlub who decided to fly home for Thanksgiving even though the CDC practically begged everyone not to then that’s another

“Pump and dump.” It’s a strategy of maximizing current profits at all costs, including sacrificing long-term growth and customer development.  Then, when your balance sheet looks great (but long-term prospects are far worse) you sell it to the next schmuck who doesn’t realize how fucked the company actually is.

Well, I’m 49. Been riding over 25 years now. I just put a deposit down on my first brand new motorcycle, a ‘21 Kawasaki z900rs for $13k out the door.

Under 55 ..... looking for that last hurrah !

Non-Harley owning boomer here.  I fully concur with your analysis.

Yep they are on thier way to a used bike support company.

Now all they have to do is kill their expensive models.

Yep. A slideshow filled with backlit silhouettes. Such fail.

Click-bait much?

That’s not painted

At some point this just isn't sustainable right? I'm pretty comfortable from a salary perspective and about died paying 30k for a car, what the hell are people thinking.
