This fantastic news, but we can’t let up on our pressure. We need convictions for these killer cops and we need the officers who murdered Dave McAtee and Tony McDade arrested and charged as well.
Is there any evidence that the Commission actually heard any of the audio, and weren’t just sitting there listening to some yacht rock or something
You kind of also get the feeling he was summing up his experience as SecDef over the last year.
“I didn’t know where I was going,” Esper said.
Probably a Murder of Karen since they are accomplices in it.

Did you see what he told NBC yesterday?
Maybe it was something to do with this? Seriously, how fucking awkward is this shit? Just standing in front of a boarded up church in ill-fitting suits, weird postures. Nobody knowing wtf to do with their arms.
“The killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis policeman is a horrible crime. The officers on the scene that day should be held accountable for his murder. It is a tragedy that we have seen repeat itself too many times. With great sympathy, I want to extend the deepest of condolences to the family and friends of…
Your writing brings up a very pressing point: how do we properly describe a group of Karens?
Yeah, if you can afford to pay a property manager whilst living on the other side of the country and you don’t feel like you have to interact with tenants....
Right, so many memories and so much money put into that home that you’ve never spoken to its resident until the house made national news.
I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not but if it’s not... what is there to defend about a man bitching about a hero’s late rent check?
Like even if I was somewhat sympathetic to this douche (if say he was a small landlord or retiree who needed the rent to live or was worried about the home spent much of his life in getting destroyed) how fucking dumb do you have to be to misread the room this badly and go public with this shit?
“Around 11 p.m., he phoned Dubey. It was the first time they had ever spoken, he said.”
Anyone know of a Go Fund Me for Dubey’s rent? NOt that I want to get money in the hands of his odious landlord, but I don’t want him to face eviction when the eviction ban in DC is lifted.
What kind of insensitive monster uses a boarded up building for a photo OP?
It was all such a perfect set up: apparently blithely unaware that EVERYONE IS FILMING EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW, she jumps out of a Benz SUV to pose for this picture but the best thing I caught at the end was that she is also wearing Hermes sandals. Yes, nitpicky in the scheme of things, but just adds another layer.
I was going to say, I hope that asshole got fired or faced some kind of consequences because I hadn’t seen it earlier. BUT I’m glad that her bosses at least realized how much of a liability she was, even if it doesn’t really do much to change how they operate as an organization.
