I can’t say enough good stuff about the Bypass Paywalls plugin for Chrome and Firefox.
Please stop with the message reactions. Android users don’t need to know each time you “Liked”, “Laughed at”, or “Emphasized” a message.
Ratchet and Clank is available for free right now!
I wish Google Voice would allow scheduling of messages (you can do it through GMail but it’s not a full solution).
I want to remove Candy Crush and Crush Saga. Will it do that?
This was fascinating. I help small business owners with their social media, so I’m always evaluating tools to recommend.
I don’t agree with this post. Applying for jobs that you’ll never hear back from feels like a waste of time and energy, and can also be demoralizing.
That makes no sense whatsoever. I can make all calls use Google Voice by default, so there’s no reason that Google Voice can’t be my default SMS app. I can even set Google Voice as the default to make calls when I tap on numbers in Chrome or Firefox. But the Google Assistant is really where I need this - when I say…
I do have a “wide” selfie option but it’s nowhere near as wide as what the Pixel 3 has. I believe it’s because there are two front-facing cameras on the Pixel 3.
Great article! As a Samsung S10 owner, I’m mainly interested in two key features Pixels have:
My NYC Transit hack isn’t a “subway” hack - but rather, it’s a suggestion of taking the Citibike for short trips (25 minute walk or less) when it’s above 40 degrees.
Thanks for this article, Mike! I used it as the basis of my Amazon Alexa Flash Briefing Skill (which will be posted tomorrow). I wasn’t familiar with Storrito but really appreciate being clued in! Check out the Flash Briefing at https://alxa.me/insta !
I totally wish Google Voice supported this. Sometimes I check my phone at 3AM when I can’t sleep and would love to respond to texts at that time - if they were sent later.
Yep, I mentioned that first. It’s free to switch.
Sounds like you need to upgrade to a free Instagram Business Account.
So, this actually is possible to get within the app. I covered this on my Amazon Alexa Flash Briefing yesterday.
You’d need an Instagram Business Account to do it, but it’s free and well worth the switch for the benefits you get, including analytics.
1. Open Instagram and go to the last tab (with your profile).
I wish there was a process to backup/restore all the Google Voice messages I’ve accumulated over the past 8 years to another platform. I can backup all of them using Google Takeout, but then what do I do with the .htm files?
Looks like a price mistake that has since been corrected

I’d be super happy if someone brought Turntable.fm back. I learned some really good new music from that site.
