What about movies that I've downloaded and compressed to fit on my S3? Sometimes I'll start watching the movie only to realize that I need subtitles, but it's too late.
Actually, this may be a moot point, b/c reading subtitles on my phone doesn't sound fun at all.
I watch media on my HTPC, classic xbox, WDTV Live Hub, and Android phone (while on the train with no signal). I want .avi files or .mp4 files that I can watch anywhere. Give me that, and I'll gladly pay.
I could never get the commercials stripping to work correctly, and I personally hated how Windows Media Center wouldn't give me DRM-Free .avi or .mp4 files.
Just use iSyncr. It syncs with iTunes beautifully, and if you use Rocket Player as a player on your Android device, will transfer play counts from your device to iTunes.

So everyone else knows what's going on but me. This, combined with the fact that I never…
And Parks and Recreation!
I just started using PodKicker, which is free and syncs with Google Reader. I miss Google listen, becuase, even thought it was terrible, it was very easy to sync up.
I wish I could add something more than I agree, so here's the illustration I use frequently.
I would be interested in this but is there a good music management software for Ubuntu that would work with Airplay and sync playlists with Android? I'm not a huge fan of iTunes but that's one of the main reasons I'm using Windows.
media player for your phone.
Can you play games off a USB hard drive or you have to burn them first? I am not interested in burning discs but am interested in what you're talking about and would love some pointers. Right now I have nothing - no xbox, no modding/soldering skills.
