Lol it looks like a Dell XPS 400. I have that computer as my back up. He probably just needed to update the BIOS. I used to have a lot of trouble with mine too.

Alien Swarm wasn’t totally free when it came out, you needed to already own a source game. I’m not sure if this is still the case.

Doesn't work so well on my rig. I disabled crossfire for a slight performance boost. Getting around 10fps after the tutorial with all setting minimized. Just ordered a FX-8370 as my current cpu is well below the minimum requirements. I'll let you know how much that helps when it arrives.
