Oh stop being pretentious. Nobody on earth thinks the show is deep or anything beyond just morning television.  It’s a big show with lots of eyeballs. It’s precisely because it’s just easy TV that people stop by. 

And it wasn’t said or implied that it was exclusive to African Americans, just that it is the defining aspect of African American success. Try the fuck again. 

The show has been on a gazillion seasons globally and we all know the cast is given a list of all the possible lip sync songs for their season.
