Re: Anne Heche; I know what you mean, but remember that she leaves family behind. She was the willful instrument of her own death but that in itself is sad. This death was preventable but that in itself is worth a pause at least and a second or two of compassion for those who loved her

I feel bad for Heche’s two boys.

Please don’t make me sad by reminding me that Fleabag and the hot priest are not ongoing parts of my life. I need more of them.

Martha Stewart’s the ex-con, Pete Davidson’s got the crappy prison tattoos. I see a late-1980s, high-concept buddy movie in their future!

Holy crap. I never heard of this game. I was in elementary School in the late '80s in Middle School in the early 90s. Is this a relatively new phenomenon?

All of what you’re saying is the equivalent of “Well, yeah she was abused, but she got that green so she should suck it up, stfu, and move on.”

And non-fans based on some of these comments.

If you need this many words to explain yourself, pack it in and rethink.

Whataboutism much?  Yeah, and starving children in Ethiopia have it worse than any of them.  Does that excuse the wrong done to her?

Especially considering that Jennette McCurdy is taking full ownership of it. She has drawn a clear line between her feelings towards Ariana Grande, and Ariana Grande herself. She knows it was the circumstances and didn’t have a lot to do with Ariana. I also don’t see what’s so “hilarious” about it. She’s describing an

So she should be grateful she was forced to do child labor she didn’t even want to do and not given the ability to do anything else?

LMAO at “public donut” though.  Lick your own private donuts, Ariana!

Shut the fuck up

So it’s interesting you have to keep replying to explain yourself to others yet you seemingly miss that’s it’s not *us* that are misunderstanding your point, but that your opinion is trash. We know how to read, you don’t know how to defend your position in a manner that doesn’t make you appear tone deaf and callous.

Financial security is great but there is a shit ton of baggage there that I wouldn’t trade for all the money in the world.

It’s pretty disappointing that Jezebel painted this as some sort of rivalry instead of a natural reaction to being manipulated. If Schneider can play his actors against each other, they won’t unite against him. I recognize that Jezebel has long since given up any feminist cred that they had, but this article seems

I feel bad because this is a totally reasonable and human reaction and she’s still going to be eaten alive by Ariana fans. Thoughts and Prayers

my god they say in the article that this is a SMALL part of the book Ye gods, she was a teenager with an abusive mother, in an abusive system and she was jealous of someone. She has done a lot of work on herself and she’s being honest about being jealous/envious of someone.

This type of manipulation must be part of the Dan Schneider playbook. The rumors of divisiveness and favoritism on set of Victorious (“We all sing”) sound similar and Victoria Justice was left with a similar deadended career and is still estranged from the rest of cast, including Ariana Grande.

I was too old for this era of Nickelodeon, but I have to admit this memoir intrigues me.
