I noticed it in the Cutler books. In the first Cutler book “Dawn”, there are passages that are lifted word for word from Flowers In The Attic. Plus, the series was just a mish-mash of rehashed storylines from both the Dollanganger and Casteel series. I never read another of Neiderman's "V.C. Andrews" books.

My Sweet Audrina was published in 1982. Andrew Neiderman didn't start writing the V.C. Andrews books until 1986, when Andrews died.
