That is for you to decide

I feel like the responsible thing to do is to give Incognito the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah but give him time. I wouldn’t put any money on the idea that Ball won’t do the same thing. This whole “he’s a marketing genius” angle has been stripped down to reveal a guy that exploits his kids and has little or no formal business training. His business acumen appears to be seriously deficient too. I think

Wow I didn’t know any of that. Good info.

When did I say our careers were comparable? I don’t have a career to compare. I was merely marveling at her ability to master skating on ice so quickly and I used my own knowledge of how difficult a skill it is to learn as a layperson to serve as a point of comparison. You don’t comprehend much do you?

Holy God what an athlete. I grew up playing hockey. I just got back on skates after a long absence due to an injury. Ot was rough. For someone to step on the ice for the first time, and then four months later establish herself as one of the best in the world is unprecedented. I’m legitimately awed.

Levar Ball has accomplished the rare task of making both the NCAA, and Mcculey Culkin’s father, look like models of good judgement.

Hey now, it wasn’t that long ago that they were against Jews, Italians, or Catholics competing. Progress.

Ugh what is this constitution you speak of? Can we change it at all?

Are we sure Obama can’t run again? Didn’t FDR serve like 19 terms? Wasn’t the two terms thing more of a gentleman’s agreement because George Washington only served twice? There must be some loophole.

McVay gets a lot of credit, but let’s face it, most people think all the serious planning was done by Terry Nichols.

Richard Pitino: “What would Dad do?”

Without googling it, who won the championships in major sports in 1999? Most people don’t know, and most people don’t care anymore. That’s what is weird about sports. We get so insanely psyched when our team wins and then it seems totally unimportant just a few years later. None of this really matters aside from the

Yeah i’m not sure what any of that has to do with my larger points. What you said makes sense. Not really important to the larger argument though.

I said “Ok”. He’s right about that. Doesn’t really change much of the substance of the argument.

Ok

I understand the sentiment (I guess) but as someone else pointed outt, this seems very disrespectful to those guys who gave everything they had and came up a little short. Most people, given years of hindsight and time to mature, will come to appreciate that they were the second best in the world at something. You

Yes I suppose. That was the issue the debate turned on.

This reminds me of the time In college when a philosophy professor asked us whether we were willing to give up all joy in order to rid the world of all suffering. I never had a good answer for him. On the one hand, yes, Nobody should have to die from Malaria. On the other hand, “Survivor” comes on and I’m drawn in.
