The anti-choice crowd has weaponized abortion access so much that Democrats are scared of voting to uphold the precepts of Roe v. Wade. It’s not good and unless the Democrats (nation-wide) find their spine ASAP it has the potential to get much worse very quickly.

“No first use” policies are completely meaningless to a country waging war on its own borders. Countries rewrite those policies, if not officially than at least functionally, as soon as they’re in a state of war, and many times over as war progresses and their prognosis on the conflict changes.

Belief is different than reality.

FWIW, most Indians believe that they could completely neutralize Pakistan in 72 hours if full-out war broke out in the region.  This would allow them to focus on China and avoid a two front war.

The fact that the United States is presently incapable of offering any type of leadership or example here is also a bad sign.
