THIS is the sort of stuff that I wish Marvel would capitalize on in their media! It’s fun watching a bunch of people blow up buildings and punch each other with planets, then move on; but it’s more INTERESTING to linger a bit to see the repercussions.

Personally, I’d love if they did a sort of Black Mirror series that

Ooo! A good thought! I think, for this one, those with transplants who weren’t snapped are okay. If you remember, when Bucky was snapped, his vibranium arm didn’t fall to the ground; when people were snapped, their clothes didn’t slough off and remain behind. So if my 80s-style Walkman with my wicked-awesome copy of 2

“Why does everyone just assume Red Skull is telling the truth? Maybe it is as simple as a Soul for a Soul and you don’t even much have to like the person?”

I bet you real money that when Red Skull showed up, the previous guardian gave him that same spiel, and Skull was like “I will test that theory” and tossed them

[Rant]

Right now, people are whining about Biden being “no better than a Republican.”
I point out “You said the same thing about Hillary, and it got us *actual* Republicans.” Right now, people are saying “We need to not vote for Democrats so they’ll get the message.” To which I say “And in the meanwhile, the Republicans

That’s the money question. They only ever set up the 3-Eyes Raven as being 1.) Semi-Omniscient; and 2.) a target. My personal opinion: it’s fairly lazy story-telling to set up a creature like that and have its only purpose be as a Plot Device. I’d like to hope/believe that it has more to it than that.

Considering we

I agree: The break-up and such strikes me as people who haven’t heard of closing the gorram door. As for the accusations being thrown out at him online: that it is his now-ex throwing this out there is more than a bit suspect in my opinion. This wouldn’t be the first time that someone has gone online and made Spite

Not at this rate, that’s for sure. Not unless there’s some Last Episode @$$-pulling on the show-runners’ part. Still, there’s always the books? [half-hearted shrug]

Epiphany: What if Bran/The Three-Eyed Raven has been the Big Bad all along, and the Night King and his White Walkers were the weapons created to stop/destroy it? It strikes me as odd that a foe that’s set up to be a plague upon the living would be so focused on one individual simply because “it wants to destroy all

Stannis Hype was very real!

(BOOK SPOILERS)
In the books, he allowed it because it kept the realm unstable and vulnerable so a Targaryen could return. He even said as much as he killed Tywin’s brother — one of the only people who was competent and selfless enough to be a good ruler.

It’s why my hypothesis is that Tyrion is a Targaryen, and that

“Black people,gentrify Hoschton!

Rookie Assassin > Never An Assassin

In terms of narrative tension, there’s still one final wild-card left to be played:

Tyrion Lannister ‘nee Targaryen

(MINOR SPOILERS/SPECULATION FOR THE BOOKS)

Through the television series, Varys — a general weakling and keeper of secrets — has been hanging out with Tyrion rather closely, even though he is about as

When I read the news about AO3, I thought it was a belated April Fool’s joke! Guess the joke’s on me. ^_^

[goes to add “Hugo Award nominated author” to the resume]

The expedited timetable isn’t the problem; the problem is that he’s not giving them the money to do it. Ask Boeing what happens when you try to rush an engineering job on a shoestring budget.

Won’t lie, much of a 90s Boy as I am, and as much as I enjoyed Alanis un-ironically (get it), I’ve never heard Jagged Little Pill fully, so I can’t judge on the quality of the whole album. Now all my Lady Friends adore it -one or two owning it on cd, vinyl, and digital - so I think it’s less of a Dude’s Only sort of

Ooo, good one! I’ve been guessing Mimic, but you might be onto something here.

So the first D&D monster they took on was a Demogorgon; the second was a Mind Flayer; betting money is that this beastie is a Mimic; I’m going on a limb and saying that the final season’s Big Bad is going to be a Beholder.

Editor’s Notes: Seems it was bigger news if you search for “bond,” and not “loan” like I did. Hyperbole was hyperbolic.

Yeah, I’m wondering why more people aren’t chattering about this! I had to *dig* to find an article that mentioned that Tesla paid off an almost billion dollar bond on time and — as you pointed out — with cash! Maybe I’m naive, but that strikes me as a pretty big deal, especially for a company that almost every
