I love my rubberized roads here in Phoenix.

Low rolling resistance tires are such more due to their construction restricting tire flex more than the actual friction between the tire and road. So you can lower rolling resistance without lowering grip, although there can be a negative impact to ride quality. So you can have your cake and eat it too, if you

My personal and family/friend experience all point to the saying - “Take care of your car and it will take care of you.”

    #Toosoon?

My understanding is that the 3.5 TTV6 is actually the “upgrade” over the V8 in the F-series. Unless you’re talking about the newer 2.7 TTV6, which is probably still preferable to the V8. Really the NA engine has no place in the line up with those two, except for people that just hate turbos.

Absolutely! I like to think the pic I posted is the “good” angle. Kudos to GM for taking a chance though - breaking rank on styling can be hit or miss. I’m a fan of subtle aggression. For instance, I really like what GM did with the Cobalt SS (without the mega-wing).

I have...it didn’t then, it doesn’t now. Decently quick for sure, but that whale tail is hideous.

Just posted the same thing...you beat me to it.

I’m bending the rules here “...otherwise nice car”, but this has to be mentioned.

So if the car is moving at 60 mph, and light is leaving the car at, well, the speed of light, does this mean that relative to the stationary person the light is actually travelling at the speed of light plus 60 mph? Is this how warp works? Can we go to Andromeda now?

Probably by modding the shit out of it and expecting it to make 400+ reliable horsepower, and then going broke trying to fix it because the dealer voided their warranty.

He didn’t mention anything political in his article. Also, science doesn’t align with any form of politics - it simply presents facts. The planet is on a warming trend - this is an observable fact. The sea level is rising - this is an observable fact. It’s the politics that decided to align with (or against)

Arctic ice at the North Pole, sure. Not so much with the Antarctic ice at the South Pole. And when those mile-plus thick glaciers slide off the land into the water, sea levels will continue to rise (as they already are today).

You could always buy a Satur-, I mean you could always buy a Scio-...Well, shit. Tesla then?

I see it as a mix of car money and disposable income money. That’s the only way I could justify that to myself - I could have a nice, reliable new car for say, 500/mo as an example. I can spend 500 more per month in “fun money” to get the M3. And depending on the roads around me, that 500 in fun could be very well

My first thought as well. Basically comes out to another gas tax, hardly noticeable at the individual level, but adds up quickly to $$$ like an Office Space bank heist.

I’m referring to those that resort to driving “alternative cars”.

So if I told the officer my rate of speed was 15 feet-per-second squared, would that be ok?

I also buckle up before I start the car. But not because I drive badly - I just don’t trust anyone else on the road and I want to be held in place when someone inevitably hits me.

So much this...number of feet required to drive = number of pedals by feet - 1. 2 pedal car? USE ONE FOOT ONLY. The dead spot for your left food is not the brake pedal.
