Probably already posted, but here is the “How it all started” video -
Android tablets pre-installed in a Bentley? Now I’ve seen everything.
This is true, but they can also bridge the gap by maintaining regional inventory to the point where the car you want can be delivered in a week or less vs ordering new and waiting months. This would significantly reduce their cost to maintain inventory vs. traditional dealerships. I think that is a compromise most…
Exactly. You know what will keep Ford in check? The competition. If you don’t like what Ford is charging, don’t piss and moan and try to haggle, just take your money elsewhere.
If the Model 3 does to entry-level luxury cars what the Model S is currently doing to the high end market, you bet your ass that the others will take note and make changes. That year-to-year chart shows that Tesla is not bringing in new-to-luxury people - they’re winning converts from Mercedes, BMW and the like.
About as good as it worked for Scion. That said, neither of them sell at the price point or limited quantity that Tesla does. It will be interesting to see how well their sales model scales up in size and down in price.
With no-haggle pricing you’ll never pay too much, because if you feel you’re paying too much, you’ll go buy something else. A Tesla is not a necessity.
I’d guess mid 5 second range depending on just how well it hooks. Can’t watch the actual video here at work.
Not “overbreed”, but inbred. And they’re only inbred so much because of stupid assholes that puppy mills trying to churn out as many labs as possible due to their overwhelming (and well-deserved) popularity. If you’re looking at price first when you get a lab, or any purebred dog for that matter, you’re doing it…
Conspicuously inconspicuous.
Technically 1...I mean there is still a reduction gear.
Yeah, I don’t venture into those areas unless absolutely necessary.
Hey now, that is a severe generalization. You’re letting Scottsdale speak for all of us Valley residents. That is the true home of the $40k millionaire.
In that case, AA, AB, AC...
I don’t think he’s worried about street parking the car because someone will ding it, but because he can’t charge it. Garages have charging capability, most street spots do not. So, most apartment and condo dwellers may be SOL on the electric ownership front unless they can get a charge as fast as they can pump a tank…
Your friend just needs to get laid more often.
I love the headlights...the car looks as though it is staring into the sky, dreaming of the Autostrade.
The good news is that in 3 years, both the the Kia and the Porsche will probably be 20 grand, so you can have your pick.
Gotcha - in that case still unlikely. More heat gets transferred to the fluid from the calipers (which absorb heat through the pads) than the pressure of the pump. So in this case still much less wear in holding a car in place vs. the act of stopping it.
