Except for the cars that the CR report mentioned needing complete engine replacements.

I dunno, that kind of looks like a bow-tie hiding on the grill between the cardboard. My guess is a Lumina.

They thought it exactly half of the way through. As in, how does the front half of the vehicle population exit in this parking circumstance?

This makes sense, because the chauffeurs should be expected to stay in the car at all times anyway.

Hey now, you’re giving accountants a bad name. All they do is run the numbers - the big guys up top decide which ones to go with.

Do you think that software has so little effect on engine power and fuel economy?

Yep...pretty much the only time the 1.5 psi excuse could actually be valid.

Depending on the nature of your visit, this is also a great alternative. Plus you get positive karma points - never a bad thing.

You and I both. I wish I could sleep the miles away on a plane.

Highly unlikely, as overnight rates for luggage-sized packages can cost as much as the airline ticket itself. But planning ahead and using ground can be beneficial.

All of that is simply supply and demand. More people want direct flights, more people fly on Mondays and Fridays, etc. The cost to the airline is almost irrelevant - it costs nearly as much to fly an empty plane as it does a full one, so they really just need bodies in seats and they’ll charge whatever they need to in

Most hotels will gladly accept and store your luggage ahead of time, usually for free. That said, I have never personally tried this as I tend to travel pretty light or just drive if it’s within a few hundred miles.

We’re getting closer and closer to the point where it is just cheaper to send your baggage out via USPS a few days before flying rather than paying to check / carry on.

When did the Borg start designing pick-up trucks?

Something to do with how it bleeds through rubber maybe...? But the main benefit of full nitro is the removal of water vapor from the tires. That is the stuff that leads to metal corrosion, tire degradation from the inside out, large pressure differentials due to temp, etc.

This...I have seen some charge 500 to 1000 for free lifetime nitro fills. Not like CostCo does it for free or anything. Hell, I think even regular tire ships offer it for a nominal fee, if not also free.

At least we also got a very close 0-60 estimate out of this.

You would have been better served by reading and not commenting, than by commenting and not reading.

Land Cruisers can also off-road like a mo-fo. Good to have in certain situations...

While you make some very good points about GM, Cadillac hasn’t been about any of those principles for decades. Brand separation is a good thing. If you want value, durability, practicality, etc...GM has a vehicle for you. Several, in fact. But it sure as hell isn’t the Escalade.
