Same here.
Same here.
Maybe there's the same amount of falling snow in each shot, but the snow on the ground in Sansa's shot masks it?
The bird is a bit of a nod to Blue Velvet as well, no?
Which is why it's so weird that Lionel Ritchie's second solo album is titled Chopping Up Dogs.
Patrick Stewart makes a pretty good heavy in Green Room.
I endorse this message.
Was this the first week without a "celebrity of the week" cameo? Aside from the mention of Springsteen, I can't think of any.
Wasn't that last episode?
It starts to get better after that ep.
De nada!
I've actively enjoyed watching the the past two episodes, which I couldn't really say about the previous ones. It seems to be finding its footing. I'm hoping it makes a leap in season 2 a la The Leftovers.
Yeah, that plot could be a dead end, literally or figuratively.
re: the murder subplot: my guess is that the detectives will use Ritchie to get to the mobsters. Now that they're sharing an office, I could see Ritchie informing on them in exchange for them dropping him as a suspect in the Buck Rogers case.
Also, are we meant to believe that David Bowie ends up ripping off Zak’s lightning-bolt face paint for the cover of Aladdin Sane? Or was the lightning bolt already a thing in the world of 1973 glam rock?
I was going to ask about Ghost Ship too. SPOILER ALERT: His death half-way through the movie seems like it was written in because his time-share in the Caribbean unexpectedly became available.
Has anyone made a superclip of people in emotional crisis/stasis sitting underwater (most notably in pools). Both Girls and Vinyl used this cliche tonight, along with seemingly every other TV show/movie ever made.
yeah, but I want to go back and rewatch the moment where he stops being angry and forgives Zak. On the initial watch, he has a moment with himself (that Zak can't see) which looks like he's letting go of his anger in a genuine way. I want to see how that plays knowing what the reveal is at the end.
Just a week ago Richie was the world's most insane raging coke head, and Zak was the rational one. This week it was as if they switched roles completely, which made Vinyl's already less than compelling or believable storyline felt more artificial and forced.
What, Robert Goule wasn't enough for you?
Was that Skip and Andrea that Clark saw having sex in the office?
