Maybe it was Peggy's idea and Don got the credit, a la Glo Coat.

Any movie with a young Kristy McNichol.

St. Paul is west of Racine. Don was already traveling away from NYC (and toward CA) when he picked up the hitchhiker.

Isn't the dad an atheist?

OK, I'm now ready to let go of my dream-jewish-memorial-service-with-fake-makeup-Joan-as-Rachel's-sister theory.

My comment was in jest!

No, it's because he's "the winner."

I think the whole scene was another dream. I don't know a ton about Jewish tradition, but aren't the burials/funeral/memorials pretty close to the actual death. And earlier it was said she had been dead for a week. Plus, I don't buy that her sister would know who Don is or give him that much personal attention at…

yes, exactly.

you get the point!

Am I the only one who thought Rachael's memorial was a dream and that her sister was Kristina Hendrickson is weird makeup?

Maybe spin off his Parks and Rec character into his own sitcom.

Need more from the Dick Ebersol years, most notably the synchronizes swimmers…

Not sure if someone mentioned this already, but "Salad Days" my Mac DeMarco seems like much more of a rip off of "Picture Book" than "Warning."

The beginning of the original kind of scared me when I was eight.

I was going to suggest Terry and Julie from Waterloo Sunset, but then remembered that they weren't fictional.

Maybe my favorite moment of the series was when he pitched the winning Jaguar line to Don.

So, judging by the photo, I'm saying the season starts in late '67.
