There’s clearly a benefit to being anything other than Caucasian, or even Asian, within academia. Whether it’s applying for admittance or a job, universities place a lot of importance on race and ethnicity.

We’re having protests about the same thing? I didn’t know people were protesting because a guy was shot after he robbed a convenience store, assaulted the owner, and then attacked a cop.  Must have missed that on the news.  

It’s a conversation about a profession. One in which he has worked for decades. If he’s not allowed to be in the conversation then there probably shouldn’t be a conversation.

If the voters have even a modicum of sense she will be thoroughly trounced. Given the fact that they elected her in the first place, I doubt that’s the case.

It’s not going to happen. Every single one of them was trespassing and breaking the law. Nobody got hurt, so hopefully they learned a lesson.
