Yes, every year is the end of a decade. But we know that’s not what she meant. And that’s not how we really count them. By that logic she could do this same list every single year seeing how it is the end of a 10-year period.

There was no year 0. You do understand this, right? There was no 1/1/0 A.D. Please tell me you are aware of this. Therefore the first decade was 1/1/01 - 12/31/10. Therefore the current decade runs 1/1/2011 - 12/31/2020.

There was no year 0.  We went from B.C. to 1 A.D.  1/1/01 - 12/31/10 was the first modern decade.  This isn’t difficult.

No, the new decade begins 1/1/2021.  What part of this basic math is tripping you up?
