I get what you're saying. One of the more aggravating things about a lot of online talk about subjective issues is how often you get some variation on "Google is your friend."

A Very Merry Christmas is pretty great, except I'm not a fan of the We Did It Before number, which feels like filler to me.

It's definitely going to be offputting to a lot of people, and I understand that. Some people just have shallow expectations of a traditional arc of redemption for awful characters, or want their awful characters to have a heart of gold under a gruff exterior. It's similar to how the US Office was ruined as Michael

The Christmas show is great — it gives a lot of depth to Dee, Dennis and Frank's awful family dynamics, and the background of Mac and Charlie's childhoods is fantastic and horrifyingly sad

I hated the ski episode last season. The tone seemed off, they overcomitted to the rivalry — to me it felt like a bad late Simpsons "parody" that was mostly just references to the original. I get that it was supposed to be a break from the usual, but I felt like it was too much in love with itself, which is a

I knowed the source I used to one time, but I no so smart no more.

The first Chardee MacDennis would be my pick as an intro because it's just the five of them and the bar, and Frank's ignorance of the game is a great way for the other four to talk about each other. It's also a hilarious episode with lots of depravity and backstabbing.

I never want to see it again. Wow they were awful. But that was part of the fun, I think, and I loved the episode and I'm glad they're back too.

At least some of that was either Philly or another Northeastern city — when they were going down the cobblestone street about 15 minutes into the show, those rowhouses were something you don't see in LA. They definitely shoot occasional outdoor scenes in Philly, and I'm guessing that was one of them.

When I read the episode summary, I thought it was going to be awful. I was wrong. I think I was assuming they were going to overcommit to the musical angle or screw up the race angle, but they handled both really well. And I definitely wasn't expecting the Bakula angle.

They're enabled in so many places by horrible economic analyses, and unfortunately local governments tend to lack the ability to look at them with a critical eye, and if they do, they're often overriden by local officials who don't want to do the math. The costs and benefits typically don't fully emerge for a decade

And what adds to the awfulness, as others have said in the comments, is how quickly they decline. So you not only get a complex which has ruined memories of good land, they rarely look any better than when they're new. You can look at a McMansion complex and easily imagine the better past, limited present, and dingy

And the starting lineup of the 1976 Flyers.

I think I ate my eraser.

At a minimum there should be a collection of your greatest hits (plus good ones by others at AVC of course) with annotations - what they were like during the interview, where it happened, any extras like an agent showing up to cut things off and the actor waving them off…

Just curious, but any idea why it was cut down? Barring some kind of legal issue like he started talking about how Tony Shaloub was a cannibal and Steven King was inspired to write Cujo when had a long intimate relationship with a St. Bernard, I can't imagine what reason there would be to cut it. These things

Interesting take, although one thing I'd quibble with is the idea that Baldwin would say to Buckley that he was just as good as him.

Darkman! DARKMAN!

I'm glad he is fond of Fly Away Home, because that's an excellent movie. It's a rare family movie that balances emotion and intelligence and it could have turned into trash pretty easily with less skilled people involved. The cast is really solid with Daniels turning in another great job and Kinney is a great

The Candidate is another really good one of his. It's probably a bit hard to watch right now, though.
