I would like to see this movie. I hope it is overdubbed. It is a visual fest and I’d hate to be distracted from the visuals because I have to read subtitles.

I don’t know enough about the luxury marques to speak, but I believe the Bolt was in the works before the Tesla. It certainly was on the market before Tesla; so was the Insight and the Leaf, et al, for most people. I hope that you are right. I am far enough from Musk’s circle that I don’t know his intentions and

I’m not sure if it makes me feel better or worse that Booty Queens is filming in the direction of the playground...

God, when I see those people riding their fixie bicycles in their Chuck Taylors, smoking their Marlboro Reds, I just want to just pull over, turn off NPR and jump out of my Audi to beat them with my messenger bag.

What Elon Musk is saying is correct, but he is not saying it as well as he can.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

Hipsters can be pretty hard to understand. They’re waaay more individualistic and expressive, which means they do exactly as their friends do. Anything from glasses to beards to jeans cut is carefully culled from market research they do independently but quite unconsciously from their pool of peers, and then emulated.

You would think that, wouldn’t you? But when I told my GP that I walked five miles a day and showed him my GPS and fitness trackers as proof, he just rolled his eyes because I didn’t match his idea of what a person who walks five miles a day should look like. In short, he assumed I was lying.

He is no longer my GP.

“what the fuck are you talking about?”

Henry Ford was taken to court in a lawsuit to declare him mentally unfit to be CEO. The issue at hand was the V8 all the engineers and bean counters at Ford said it could not be done. After All Henry Ford didn’t know how to do it either. They lost the lawsuit Henry won and now we have bad ass v8 engines.

That’s the hard part. If NASA can go from launching a dog into space to putting a human on the moon in less than ten years, I have no doubts we could get a man on Mars very quickly. It’s a matter of money and will power. Fuckit...if we can hand the banks 1 Trillion (with a ‘T’) to bail out some bigwigs, we can sure as

I doubt JFK was all that hands-on at NASA with his slide rule after making that speech. Dude’s trying to be the change he wants to see in the world.

Except that this isn’t “racist blackface.” It’s entirely divorced from the tradition, tropes, intent, meaning, methods, and practices of blackface that makes it so shameful.

Pilot - “Good luck.”

Being a yes man isn’t a good thing either. Communication is key. To do everything without questioning is bad for business. You can’t assume that the one in the lead role has the best ideas. The key is to do so respectfully.

As someone who has managed employees older than me, I appreciate being questioned if the decision I made doesn't make sense. Some of my employees have saved me on occasion.

Day 1 of a new college-aged hire: “Alright, your accounts are all set up, and I’ve forwarded the team meetings to you so just open Outlook and accept them so they’ll be on your calendar.”

One could argue that a good employee isn’t someone who follows orders blindly, but someone who interprets those directives and voices his/her opinion if they’re contrary to the interests and operations of the company as a whole.

“They made the decision, you execute the command.”
