Bravo for Miley Cyrus doing something for people in need in her own country. Not that they deserve it more, but i think alot of people accidentally forget about people in need in their neighborhood when donating.
Never heard of her, but i feel like looking her up if i can find stuff she worked on from back then.
That explains her tweet, eventhough i probably read too much into it. I sometimes feel like i should start every comment on Jezebel with:
True. That’s actually something that offends me as a german with lots of family who fought in WW2, lived during the 3. Reich and ultimately also suffered from it.
Fox News is full of people like that. I remember when i first watched it over here in Germany after getting 400 channels in my new subscription i don’t really need.
Thanks, i didn’t know that about flagging. I’ll make sure i do that from now on when insults, mocking and harassment is involved.
Thanks for an informative and normal answer. I don’t know Lena. I basically got attacked and insulted on here for thinking it would be creepy if she was serious, giving an example of my ex who suffers from anxiety disorder. Because apparently it’s offensive towards people with anxiety issues to call their stalking,…
Turns out i apparently offended people by calling the actions of my ex “creepy” therefore apprently being insulting towards people with an anxiety disorder. So i spent the last hour on here explaining that i have mental health issues myself “Aspergers Syndrome and General Anxiety Disorder” diagnosed since i was 6 and…
In Germany we have alot of laws about animal rights. In some cases animals even have more rights than humans because animals don’t have the brain to make “moral” or “rational” decisions like we do.
Thanks, i didn’t know if contacting would help in anyway. I’ll do that. And yes of course i have privileges in other areas. But the insults and “check your privilege” i received in a discussion about mental health, where i don’t really have one. As i said, hypocrisy. I wish there would be less people who call themself…
Thanks for the nice answer. But i literally meant “attacking” as in getting insults and assumptions like “F*ck you, you don’t have any real problems!” and “I hope you f*cking die” and of course sometimes even the “Check your privilege”. Yea i’m so privileged with my mental health issues and being a non-native english…
Yes, i’m aware of the Internet, well being the “Internet”. But it surprised me on Jezebel. And everytime i flag a post that is full of “F*ck you” “I hope you die” etc. (which btw usually get alot of upvotes for some reason) they never get deleted. Sometimes i wonder if that sort of bullying is supported on Jezebel.
I agree completly with you. Not everyone is the same and i didn’t imply that. And thanks alot for the compliment about my english. Too bad learning a language doesn’t help recgonizing sarcasm or jokes from that culture. Especially when you got Aspergers like me.
I agree, i like people pointing things out. But they should point it out without assumptions and attacks/insults towards me. I love Jezebel but it’s so full of people who attack me for being a non-native english speaker or for saying something like above, that my exs actions were “creepy”. Too much sugarcoating is bad…
As i said, it was intended for everyone. Because i don’t know what your problem with my post was. So don’t worry i know you didn’t mention it.
I havn’t read that tech blog and don’t want to. I loved her book “Lean In” and it annoys me that there are people who would talk bad about this. - However, Nowadays there is always someone who is insulting, ignorant and intolerant. On all sides. Jezebel is also full of people who are very vile while thinking they are…
First of all, not everything is an attack.
One question, I noticed some people on here were offended by what i said about my ex’s behavior being “creepy”. So that’s a response to everyone.
I suffer from mental health issues myself since my whole life. And something people without them need to understand is that we don’t wanna be wrapped in a bubble-wrap.
