Feel free to do so! This sort of failed sarcasm often happens to non native-english speakers. Because it would sound sarcastic in my native tongue doesn’t always mean the sarcasm gets through in english = which the number of upvotes Herr Dilkington demonstrates haha

“Head like a f*cking... “

Oh don’t worry, we also have some of these crazy people, both right and left-wingers who make such silly comparisons to the 3. Reich, but never to concentration camps though.

Resorting to insults because i think her comparison was ridiculous? Calling me ignorant because i’m annoyed by someone who has the nerve to compare concentration camps to the Police arresting protesters? And the rest of your comment is just assumptions.

Now playing

Obviously i was being sarcastic with her getting arrested, i just wanted to state how stupid i think her comment was. But you know, we germans aren’t that great with sarcasm also don’t mention the War!

Shhhh, not in public!

Thanks for the explanation! I knew alot of the Fox-type are like that. But that lady was clearly a left-winger. I guess both sides have these idiots.

German here (You read in a moment why this is relevant.) SOME of these protesters really blew my mind! When i heard many stay outside i thought “Well ok, that usually happens on protests!”

Thank you! Way to little people know that Germany is one of the only countries who stands up to it’s mistakes of the past, pays and is still paying reperations to everyone harmed, has monuments for everybody in it’s own country and doesn’t hide anything. - In fact, i can’t tell you how often i got into a discussion

Depends on the region. Serious germanic paganism is more common in Hessen, Bavaria, Badem-Württemberg and Saarland. Then we got quiet a bit everywhere who are “moderate” about the old ways or combine it with new-age esoteric (Sure you know what i mean).

Canadians have an accent? Everytime i met one i thought they sound like easier-to-understand-american-english. I guess i have to check Youtube for some canadian accent lessons haha

I know, but i automatically think of the southern US when seeing such crazy stuff.

Exactly and yes that is true about americans who live in Germany. We still got a lot of US military over here and where i grew up we had one of the largest US bases in Germany (Wolfgang) near Hanau. And while i met alot of americans and have alot of american friends who chose to stay in Germany, none of them ever made

I’m not afraid of police (Well, because i live in Germany). But i’m starting to get scared of the US police. Especially as someone who travels to the US once a year. Only been to New York and Massachussets (spelling?) yet. But still can’t stop thinking about a scenario where a police officer misunderstands me and i

As a man i agree with that. I had too high Testosterone Levels and until my doctor found out about it i had extremly emotional (sometimes even manic states) once a week, oh and don’t even mention the constant unnatural sex-drive... Then i changed my diet and took medication to balance my Testosterone Levels and since

Are you serious with that generalization about men? Or am i missing the joke again... (being german) Yeah i think i miss the joke or sarcasm again. Damn it german brain!!!!!

Is it wrong that as a foreigner i like to believe that every american from a southern state is able to do that? Including a double flip with a Dodge Ram?

I know they’re out in the wild in some US states. Over here in Germany they are not to be found in the wild. But a couple of years ago some guy released his huge snapping turtle on a bathing lake, the turtle bit off a bit of a kids foot and then the fire brigade emptied the whole lake in order to find it.

At our Supercar & Classic Meetup here in Frankfurt, Germany we also had a guy coming with the exact same car. And yeah, he thinks it counts as “exotic” because i wouldn’t be surprised if nobody else owns one.

Glad i’m not the only one! My girlfriend however didn’t understand it and still doesn’t.
