FBI - Following Baseless Innuendo

Remember, in the ‘60's he was too busy figuring out how to avoid Vietnam to get mad about race riots. He may have even been a tad liberal. Now, he’s older and has accumulated wealth. His main priority now is to preserve the status quo and worry about anything that threatens what he owns. I know, because I’m of that

It’s ok when it’s Bristol Palin.

It doesn’t only affect people’s opinions of Coach K, it also has some effect on the perception of Duke as an institution. They have obviously decided that it is a favorable effect and, with some people, they’d be right.

All this tariff talk feels warm and fuzzy until it means you’re paying a grand extra for an iPhone or a laptop. Comparative advantage says free trade produces the most wealth for the most people. I guess we’ll see how it all works out one way or the other.

So, really, there are 2 groups. Those that admit they’re doing quite well, but want to pay less in taxes and those who were brainwashed. Got it.

But that’s how Bush got rich! This is atypical GOP stuff here.

Years ago, Dana Kirk’s Memphis State teams ran this play yearly against UofL’s men’s team coming out of the half. Worked every time. I wonder if the women’s coach had seen those games or tapes.

I guess we could force these folks, football players and people who ride motorcycles without helmets forfeit their Medicare/Medicaid benefits for any future brain related issues. Then it becomes a decision that doesn’t affect the rest of us.

What graph are you looking at? The income gap widened under Bush until the end of his term, then narrowed with Bush’s economic crash and then moved back to the trend line. Unless the article formerly displayed a different graph, there is no line going “straight up.”

For sure a lot of people weren’t going to vote for her for various reasons (same for Trump), but it only took a few thousand staying home in key states to give us this 4 year gift. Obviously, none of us know for sure how many votes that cost her, but I’d suggest 40K or so across key states isn’t unreasonable.

I’d like to believe your theory, but what I heard the loudest from Trump in the general campaign was, “Crooked Hillary” and “Put her in jail.” It didn’t seem all that economics related. Those messages, combined with the late FBI stunt to further undermine Clinton, helped keep a lot of voters on the sidelines.

I bet there were far more spreadsheet jockeys than out of work coal miners that voted for Trump. They look just like normal people (unless you’re wearing Wayfarers).

Yeah, Fox and others latched onto that participation in the workforce statistic and worked it like crazy. I have been amazed at how my fellow retirees were not aware they were part of those not participating. Of course, they wanted to believe that the statistics were rigged to make Obama look good because they’d all

Oh no! Who will run the Banana Stand?

They think that measly percentage deducted from their checks when they were working covers all their Medicare costs, so they don’t consider it a “give-away” like an ACA subsidy or food stamps. In reality, Medicare payroll taxes cover 40% of their cost. Willful blindness to the facts is rampant.

I bet Switzer has been offered as many cabinet jobs as Giuliani.

Bogut? Sounds like a foreign name. Deport him.
