It absolutely is Louie light. Like I said, I’ve enjoyed a handful of episodes spread out over the two seasons (full props to the Thanksgiving episode, which was driven by a different actor), but overall, it’s just more hipster gibberish. Aww, honey, is your luxuriant NYC lifestyle that upsetting? Poor baby.

Fuck off. I

Actually he said he wasn’t represented by either party. But on this site, being right of ‘left of center’ was probably enough to damn him.

This comment shows clearly that you haven’t been in this fight very long. There’s a distinction to be made between Aziz and Weinstein, absolutely - but both ignored clear signs of non consent, and THAT is what this whole fight is actually about to start with. If we ally against the mild offender without calling him

Brilliantly said.

It’s a case of moral Muphry’s Law.

I was incredibly underwhelmed by the first season. I thought it was like Louie light. The acting was bad all around. I was annoyed that every comedian does a show about being in show business and how awful and hard it is. Boo hoo.

Am I allowed to say that I’ve always thought ‘Master of None’ is largely pretentious dog shit now? Ooh, you made a TV show that kinda feels like an Italian soap opera. Good for you.

Ikr? Men (and some women) all other these threads keep asking “why didn’t she do this or that”? But not of one of them ask “why didn’t ask or obtain affirmative consent”? Because a lot of people our culture still thinks it’s okay to coerce women into sex.

A few things come to mind here:

Here, dude: living in LA, Silver Lake in particular, I’ve heard rumors for years of Aziz being an asshole and a prick. I haven’t heard anything like this, but he doesn’t exactly have the best rep around here. So, yeah, maybe the OP did get a creepy vibe from him that didn’t have a fucking thing to do with his skin

“a rare Indian-American with a high-profile within the US entertainment industry”

He’s leans Christian conservative and has said some clumsy things about representation, which makes him as bad as people who commit sexual assault, apparently

If you’re being sincere, all this displays is your lack of imagination.

I’m not sure what angers me more...that Aziz did this to his date, or that he texted her the next day like a Nice Guy and commented on the great evening he had. How big of a tool must he be?

:a group of men breathlessly exit a conference room, ties disheveled, sweat on their brow, waving a piece of paper:

If that’s not a “shut up and take it, bitch” move, I don’t know what is.

I mean...he was one of the funniest parts of Parks and Rec for years?

Yerghh

He was on my list of “Please not him, let him not be a creep, I mean he probably is but can he just not be?”

The clip they link to, of his routine about how women only date assholes and not nice guys like him, now feels pretty appalling.
