Well there’s supposedly video of her consenting, so there’s that.

I’ve never read a Deadspin article relating to domestic violence that read so much like an AP story. Nothing here beyond “just the facts” that would lay into Barnes and his stupid, childish, misogynistic mindset.

Shaq routinely dunked on mortal men much smaller and lighter than he. Shaq was a beast who would then stare down the mortal he dunked on. This happened a lot. Nobody from Deadspin ever thought that was weird. Why is it weird when this guy does it?

All white players too. Way to fit your narrative! But you probably aren’t the type to harbour biases about people based on race, right?

Damn Wade can be a bitch. Whiteside is playing for a ho-hum team in January and wants to make sure a vital part of his body’s basketball ability is healed before coming back to action. He’s still young with a lucrative future ahead of him. Why exactly should he be pushing that injured knee?

Guy took one of the storied NFL franchises to two super bowl victories, but let’s remember him through gifs of him looking upset on the sideline.

Yes, “they” are so enthusiastic aren’t they? Doesn’t it make you feel so cool that you enjoy “their” style of announcing? Quick, let’s try to marginalize them even more!

Yes right! It’s like, I love when people from outside cultures use and stereotype the announcing styles of foreign people’s for the dominant culture’s joy and entertainment! Let’s keep doing that in this progressive space!

“Maybe he’s a racist”

Yeah, the Trumo supporters must be.

I’m glad Deadspin just posted that article about how great it was to Rondo back in action too.

“Man, these dudes were conforming to Irish stereotypes hard”.

Dusty made similar racist comments a decade ago about players of color being better suited to playing in the sun. If today’s article is any indication (presenting story about race-cringing statements without comment), watching how Deadspin covers his tenure will be fascinating.

Yeah, 14 straight is impressive. Unless you’re into years of not competing for a title, I guess.

Nobody has equated dominance in their division as “an indication of a championship caliber team”. Their World Series title is their indication of a championship caliber team.

Yes Dez, because cursing at refs during a play stoppage with an injured player laying on the ground is a great look.

Is winning their division title 14 straight seasons not dominance in their division?

Overrated? By who? They only won that 1 championship, but they did have a crazy stretch of dominance in their division that likely will never be duplicated.

Well they don’t have more pennants than the Braves, who also have 5 in that time frame (and got theirs in a fraction of the time it took the Mets to get 5).

“If that’s the case, then what is even the point of this kind of review and suspension?”
