This is mentioned in S03 of Fear, actually... It was a nice mention to people that have wondered the same on TWD.

The first season was alright, the second was oddly paced but still interesting, and I dug season 3. Moving to 4 soon. I like this show better than WTD because it seems far more realistic to how people would react and how things would end up if something like this were ever to happen. 

Are you referring to S04? I haven’t watched it yet, just wrapping up S03, but I’ve really enjoyed the last two seasons so this is disappointing to read!
