I don’t know if it’s the best place to start but “The Jet Set” episode (S02E11) of Mad Men is a good summary of a lot of the people on the show. Don’s cavalier attitude is on full display while everyone else tries to work around him. Plus, it’s in Palm Springs and I love going out there so this is my pick.

It’s one of my favorite shows. Definitely worth watching from the beginning because there are so many tiny details that end up having an impact later it’s insane. But, it’s a sweet show that shows a hell of a lot of emotion and depth in 11 minutes.
