I have no idea which straw you’re even trying to grasp at but I’m sure that comment sounded fantastic in your head. Carry on, dude.

Oh, the right’s braindead brigade has already furiously masturbated themselves temporarily blind today over all this shit. Unreal.

How is Trashtown, which you are apparently the mayor of, this Friday afternoon? You’re a terrible human.

Um...pretty sure Obama has been absurdly productive in the face of obstruction and clearly caring about getting things done above being reelected. At least outwardly it seemed that way to me.

He really does get no support, I’m with you there. It’s so depressing. And tonight we’re getting shellacked and I would rather watch the debate again haha

No, he’s been magic for 6 ⅓ and then it’s all fallen apart, generally, for some reason. Last game though he was lights out which was nice.

I agree. Obama really did try to make it work but once McConnell said, “Our goal is to make him a one term president” that shit was out the window

Touché, sir/madam.

Nope. I’ve never cared for Hillary one way or the other but the lengths the GOP has gone to destroy and/or railroad her is unreal. SNL had it right last weekend during their debate sketch, “It’s fine Donald you can’t rattle me, I’m made of steel.” Paraphrasing but you get it. And it’s true. Every single one of us on

It really is a stunning display of big brass balls. Not sure how those guys walk hahah

The ACA has been helpful but it wasn’t perfect and there were too many doubts and hand-wringing by the Democrats to make it a really solid bill. Still, it’s saved lives and I believe that’s a positive. I’m lucky enough to have a salaried job where health insurance is paid for. I don’t mind paying more if someone else

I am afraid you’re correct in that assumption. They take any olive branch and treat it as a weakness - when it’s anything but - and act like they’re the Real Americans © because they stood strong and rode their beliefs off a cliff.

UGH just caught a typo: treated as anything, not by

You’re 100% correct. He had a reputation for being his own man, just a conservative one. Once he hugged George W Bush at the 2004 convention to lay the groundwork for his nomination later, I knew he’d become a stooge.

True. Much more inclusive as opposed to “my way or the highway.” It’s really disheartening but the result is obvious: gridlock, anger, frustration. And they have the balls to point the finger and say, “Look! They’re not working with us!”

Biggest bunch of babies around. Bitch and moan about other people when they don’t “bootstrap” themselves up to Congress or the Senate but as soon as something doesn’t go their way, “Waaahhhhhhh mmmoooooommmmmmmm”

They’re all about democracy when it benefits them but when it doesn’t, the world is on fire and everything is a fraud. They’re children.

We’ll see. I think she’s more lefty than people give her credit for (I didn’t vote for her in the primaries, went Bernie) and I’m OK with a center left (or hell, even center right if it’s not too absurd) president. The Democrats always seem more willing to work with the other side but the GOP never reciprocates. They

Well I was only born in ‘81 and voted in 2000 for the first time. I am aware of the damage the conservative party has done for decades but have only experienced it as an adult since then. It’s maddening.

That pissed me off so much. They weren’t even trying to hide their contempt and desire not to do their job. They rode this wave of Tea Party dipshits until the very monsters they created turned on them. Now, they’re being sunk by a hollowed out husk of a human being and it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen. These
