I tried to play this on my pc after getting it cheap on Steam. My PC is totally up to par in terms of when LA Noire was released, but oh my god it ran like shit. Poor optimization I suspect. I should probably just pick it up on console to finish the playthrough.

I am not looking forward to the repetitive captain hunt, I hope it’s drastically scaled back in favor of everything else.

If it’s available same day as release, it should be part of the main game. It’s shady.
