Its a cool car, but for a kid still learning to drive, a right hand drive car us not a good idea. Unless you want them to be killed the first time they try to overtake someone.

For the money you could get a much safer, more reliable car that won’t get your kid teased in the high school parking lot (I think this car is cool, but its different, and in high school different is bad).
