Chances are good that this guy has been lying on affidavits for years. If defense attorneys can prove that warrants were obtained illegally then anyone arrested on evidence from those warrants should be demanding new trials without that evidence. Fruit from the poisoned tree.

This is the essence of SYSTEMIC racism. Every single person in the network this warrant traveled through, from concept to execution, didn’t give a shit at all about Breonna Taylor, or any of the people that could be hurt. They just washed their hands and looked the other way.

Right. Similar to the vagrancy, loitering, trespassing, and disorderly conduct laws that have historically targeted undesirables in America, poor folks and black folks, and other minorities. But, let’s be real, in the US, at least, the primary targets are, and always have been, black folks.

I’m sure someone can make a case that they violated the Rules of Professional Conduct for lawyers. A conviction should help nicely with that.

I recall writing something along these lines a while back, that the investigation needed to go up the chain. Still have to deal with the judges handing over permission to those insufficiently responsible to be trusted with it and the supervisors and trainers of those involved in the raid. 

Oh, well, if they’re just going to get pardoned, why bother with the trial? Because as we all know, time and money should not be wasted on symbolic actions that will just be overturned.

Was not instructed to keep my hands behind my back, and even gave the cop a little static about why on earth he would need to see my driver’s license for such a thing.
