“Should” If he is able to keep whatever police accreditation they have in NY there are lots of little towns and counties that would hire him. Hiring a bad cop who is accredited is a lot cheaper than hiring a new cadet, sending them to an academy, and then breaking them in. Also takes way less time.

NYPD needs to go though the formal process of firing his ass to ensure he cant just re-apply in 6 months or find another department that would take his sorry ass out of the cold. He needs to have his police powers permanently removed.
