Speaking as a graduate of AU, the kids there are loaded..... It was not uncommon to see BMW’s Jags and other high end cars in the student parking lot. Yes as pointed out in the news above some farmers markets have opened or started in food deserts because these benefits made them being there financially viable. There is now one in NE DC in the parking lot of RFK stadium. It is there every weekend and there is not a full suppermarket around for miles.
