Agreed. It is handy as a big button, and while touch features on it aren’t incredible, it’s not like they get in the way, so I don’t see a r eason to remove it.

Like said in another thread, the games that really required you to stand are fairly rare. The only one that comes to mind is SuperHot. You do need to be very mobile for this. Otherwise, plenty of good VR games can be enjoyed while seated: Firewall Zero Hour, Blood and Truth or Astro Bot on PS4, Moss, Half-Life Alyx,…

It’s perfectly fine to play VR games where your character is running around while you sit comfortably in a chair. I haven’t tried it in HK Alyx yet, but I think I will soon.

After all, when Neo was running, jumping, fighting and flying in the Matrix he was doing it comfortably laid down on a chair or in a pod.

I was contemplating re-playing through Control. That patch might be just what I need to trick me into playing the excellent game again. Updates to the map sound like a godsend. 

I really liked 2016's DOOM, which I played on PS4 when it came out, and recently replayed on PC, so I was obviously looking forward to DOOM Eternal.

The buttons are clearly labelled Option and Share, and yes, there’s a Touch Pad, called... the Touch Pad. Everything logical. Also, it didn’t take Sony a generation to figure out a Share button would be useful ;-)
