Good news: you can buy The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima of Death Stranding on PS4, and miss out on the improved PS5 versions (unless you want to buy them again). Or you can be patient, and play them with improved versions in a little over a year :D
I think devs need to find the right balance. (and please note that my comments do not take the Witcher DLCs into account because I haven’t played any of it, and the main game barely).
I think good examples are what Nintendo and Ubisoft did with Zelda BOTW and the Mario and Rabbids game. For Zelda, they released the…
“It features a large, new map with a design so different from the rest of the game, it almost feels like a sequel.”
Then again, “how much they cost to make” matters less than, “how many do you sell”, no?
You know saying “I just don’t understand the thinking behind interting Y” is *almost* like saying “I just don’t understand the point of being left handed” ?
If a game is “too short”, it’s going to be mentioned in reviews and people will complain... because, hey, everyone knows that the longer the game, the most fun it is, right? Right? So, any chance to add some padding that will make the game a little bit longer is good to take.
So a, a couple of days ago I find out that a freind from Taiwan is travelling to Kyoto with her family. Then my girlfriend finds out that a former colleague is currently in Kyoto too. Then this picture.
I used to work in a QA studio Jason recently wrote about, and when we crunched and ate supper at work, we’d sometimes have curry. When we’d send the email out asking for people’s orders, we usually attached a picture of Dhalsim and his fireball as a joke... so it made me laugh to see that there is actually a Dhalsim…
Comes with an instruction booklet in 3 tomes of 500 pages each, which all explain how to use it in a convoluted way full of acronyms.
Beautiful art for Gears, as always. Unfortunately, I don’t have the patience for the game anymore. I used to be a big fan of Gears: read most of the books, loved the games, but like everything, at some point, it gets stale. After Gears 3, I had enough already. I played 4 but it was already meh. Started up a bit of 5,…
This cyberpunk bike reminds me of another bike... you know? Red, with US-related stickers... must be a coincidence...
Gotta also give them credit for not making a fighting game based on a known superhero character where said superhero character isn’t represented by 45 different versions of himself.
This is Overwatch, dude, you’ll always be yelled at ;)
By the way, I love how I was able to download the game with Xbox Game Pass on PC, and how the game displays a “Play” button... but if I click on this, I’m told I’m too early and can’t play the game yet. Don’t give me a Play button then!!!??
It feels like they’re giving players who enjoyed an alternative to the Division 2... more Division 2! Why not offer two very distinct experiences?
I always thought I liked Destiny better with the original “space” suit armour, which, in particular in Destiny 1, was mostly found in crappy green and blue armour. That’s actually the armour that looked more like the stuff in artwork and advertisements for the game.
Easy to tell exactly where the picture was taken ;-)
After playing the COD Modern Warfare Alpha where they made a wonderful job giving weapons punch and feedback, making them insanely satisfying to use to the point where the game doesn’t have to rely on bells and whistles like jetpacks or futuristic weapons but provides a great experience with pure, simple gameplay that…
I started watching the video you uploaded and as soon as you started talking about the controls, which, a bit like for the first Assassin’s Creed, seem to have some sort of logic, but are very counter intuitive, I was out...
