Agreed, I don’t think they should externalize anything into the dock, as everything should be playable pretty much in the same conditions whether the console is docked or not.

They could improve the dock, though, by making it more flexible: being able to dock the console flat, so that you can place your switch in a TV…

As long as you aren’t bonking into the system, shaking the surface it is on, or trying to stand it on a softer surface like a bed or pillow, the thing is fine.
