Oh, Battletoad Rivals on mobiles. Can’t wait!
Oh, Battletoad Rivals on mobiles. Can’t wait!
Weren’t our current consoles meant to download patches in the background, even when the console is in sleep mode? What happened with that?
I’m pretty sure the Xbox One doesn’t do it. I think the PS4 updates some games (the ones you play regularly), but not others. I with there was a setting somewhere saying just…
It’s easy to forget that many terms we use to describe game features had their origins in specific games. The Quick Time Event was created for Shenmue, for example.
I keep my Xbox One around because i still have a few months of Xbox LIVE, but, honestly... it’s becoming harder and harder to find reasons to turn the console on, and I can’t say the Gold games help much... :-(
Not even, because the movie is based on a manga and novel ;-)
Keep your PUBG copies dearly! ;-)
So, PUBG invented Battle Royale?
“Zelda clone” is a bit much to describe Darksiders, but it’s true the game borrowed a lot from Zelda.
Agreed. Talking about games, I believe there’s two big mistakes Sony (and third party studios) did with the PS Vita, which didn’t help.
I can’t get into Fortnite because I don’t really care to master the building mechanics, and I hate it how everyone is constantly jumping around, all the time. It reminds me of the old days of Counter-Strike, until the devs implemented a restriction on jumping (I don’t know if it’s still there).
True that if a game came…
Everybody who talks about the failure of the Vita talks about the Memory cards. Sure, that was a pretty stupid choice by Sony, but it’s hard to pin the failure on the console on this. Many people never got a Vita in the first place and probably never even knew about the Memory stick issue.
Glad to see life will carry on for a little longer for the VITA in Japan, because it’s actually doing rather well over there.
So, what you’re saying is no, but yes. Alright.
So basically you think that ‘removing the consumer’s ability to chose a console, and using practices to reduce competition’ is the key to ‘moving the industry forward’?
I’m fine with people disagreeing, but I’m sorry: your arguments make no sense at all.
You clearly don’t understand what competition is. Yes, Sony makes consoles and pays some studios to make exclusive games, enhancing the appeal of the console. What’s anti-competitive about that? Microsoft, Nintendo, Apple, SEGA,…
That’s right. When Sony pas a studio like Naughty Dog to make a game, they should tell them to release it everywhere.
I often criticise MS, but often that criticism is misunderstood.
I don’t want the people working at Xbox to drop everything, and say “Yeah, it’s right, we fucked it up this generation, let’s pack, go home and give up because we can’t do anything worthwhile.”
No, I’m sad that Microsoft is doing crap this generation,…
Talking of PS1 Fighting Games.... where’s Bloody Roar, godammit?
Is it the rail shooter Jesse Pinkman was playing in Breaking Bad?
