I’m willing to believe that.
I’m willing to believe that.
It also shows how some of the people making these forecasts get it completely wrong... I mean, there’s a point where pretty much everyone in the industry thought that since WOW was a success, making a billion MMORPGS was a good idea...
Anoher great story, Jason, thank you!
I lived in Brighton and thought it was tough as it’s one of the most expensive parts of England (it’s quite lovely, though)... so how bad can it be in SF if studios would rather move people out to Brighton??
Would be awesome to have a Switch with white-blue / black-red joycons to go with that :-D
Sure, studying with other real people would be better. But there are also times when you can’t be with other people. In that case, if you’re on your own and seeing someone doing homework helps get you in the mood, why not?
Whatever works, right? I think that for me, that’s be a distraction, but when it comes to learning, we are all different !
The only homework I enjoyed doing in company was at Yasogami High with Chie or Yukiko ;-)
That’s true, but then again, do English speakers make any effort to pronounce french words properly? I mean, they even make some up, like “reconnoitre”...
Very good research, and very interesting article!
Back in the days, early 2000's, trees were generally horrible in games: flat bitmaps with flat leaves shapes like a cross... and it used to be that when I tried a new game, that’s one of the first things I would pay attention to. Not that it mattered particularly, but I was curious if that particular studio had made…
I couldn’t agree more with what you said.
Haha, another one of those “We listen to the community”. Sure, it’s nice to listen to the community and the feedback, but you need to have your own vision, too, because everybody knows the saying “A game that tries to please everyone pleases noone.”. This game definitely doesn’t feel like it has a strong vision…
I hope I’ll get to play with some nice folk, see if the game really has potential. It looks like sailing the ships with an coordinated team must be fun.
I got a month of Xbox Game pass to give this game and a few others a go. I don’t think it’s this game that’ll make me keep the subscription going ;-)
Like No Man’s Sky, this game just lives on a promise of features: endless space and galaxies, things to discover, etc for one, pirates, sea and stuff for the other... but they forgot the gameplay. Why would you want do any of this if the basic stuff you do doesn’t even feel fun to play?
Talk about a first time experience with this game: I got into the game and joined a multiplayer game with some friendly dude. No tutorial, no explanation, no guidance whatsoever. I mean... I’m not a fan of tutorials, but really, here, you wake up in a tavern, and good luck, dude, figure it all out.
OK, but then, do they label this as a Dragon Ball Super movie or just a new Dragon Ball Z movie? Because if it’s really a Dragon Ball Super movie, it’s weird they would change the style, and even weirder they’d change the setting. (They could instead change the style with whatever comes after Super)
The style is much closer to the older DBZ... no glossy skin and silly colours... what happened? If they head back to that kind of style, I dig it, because I really can’t stand Super’s style.
This looks very interesting! Thanks for the article!
OK, so Nintendo allows drugs on the Switch, now...
When I saw the story, I expected to see the “This story originally aired on Kotaku on...” that you see on some stories... but no. I guess the Dragon Ball guys get asked this question a lot.
