Well... that’s exactly my point, isn’t it?

You completely misread my post... no wonder you find it funny. Read again (and my other replies), and it’ll make more sense...

Read my post again: I never said he used Konami money to start his new company. Konami paid him, as a producer, to make a game for them. He made a game, sure, but he also used that money to pay people to create textures and credits advertising his future studio. He plastered Konami Prods all over the game, even though

What? You never noticed all the “Kojima Productions” plastered all over his games when he was still at Konami?

Did you see “Cliff Bleszinski” splatter his name all over Gears of War, so that, after leaving Epic Games, he could continue advertising this games as “Bleszinski Prod”?

I’m not talking about his wage, I’m talking about the money Konami gave him to make a game. That’s not his own personal money. I’m pretty sure his contract said “we give you money and you make MGS5 for us”, not “We give you this money to make MGS5, and make sure you plaster the name of your future studio all over the

He absolutely did, but that didn’t stop him from plastering the name of his future studio all over a Konami game before the studio was created.

Not sure if there’ll be room for the VR headsets when the Xbox One goes in there first ;)

That, right there, is why Konami got so cross at Kojima (and with good reason) : the guy did all of the advertisement for his new studio with the money Konami payed him to make a game.

Shame they didn’t have him narrate those...

Nice guide! I would add 2 little comments of mine:
- If you need cash (and you will in Japan9, it’s best to get it in your country, in your bank (it’s cheaper than changing it in the destination country). So, buy a bunch of Yen from your bank before you leave (lets you set yourself a budget, too). Use that cash there.

You don’t get my point. It’s a chicken and egg situation. You say there’s no point bothering with Japanese games on the XB1 because they don’t sell well. I tell you perhaps one could be bothered with Japanese games on XB1 if Microsoft actually got something worthwhile done, for once.

Well, no one buys an XB1 for Japanese games

Yes, it was. It’s a shame it came out so broken when it was really just a compilation of already released games... but they got it fixed, ultimately. It got me a chance to replay Halo 2 and confirm this has to be one of the most painful, shittiest experiences I’ve ever had as a gamer... but all the other games are

The singleplayer wasn’t fine at first. There was an unavoidable crash in one of the levels of Halo 2 which made you lose about 45 minutes of play time, for instance... though I guess not many people noticed as you had to play the turdest game of them all in the first place. Someone must have noticed, though, because

So... no Dante’s Inferno 2, then, I guess ?

No way. I don’t remember Overwatch having Half-Life graphics and stiff animations. And that sound design...

Oh my God, I am absolutely not a fan of soccer games, but International Superstar Soccer (Deluxe) on SNES... god that was so good!

I don’t care, personally... I play three characters... each with one faction :D

I heard from a very unreliable source inside Sony that he’s being fired because Kirk still can’t change his PSN ID and that’s just unacceptable.
