Thanks for the reply!

What you say about tracking reminds me of the experience with the PlayStation Move back on PS3: in some games, you’d calibrate the move and everything was fine at first, but as you played, the calibration seemed to gradually move until it was completely out of whack. Some games would allow you to

In your reviews (this one and the PSVR’s), I read a lot of complaining about the PSVR’s ability to track your movement when you move around. OK, but, correct me if I’m wrong, Sony have designed the PSVR as a mostly sitting down experience, no? (unlike the Vive)

So, OK, the tracking isn’t great if you move around. But

Can RoadHog be hooked on a feeling, though?

Maybe it has something to do with Stranger Things?

Funny I just finished watching Season I yesterday...

Amplified by Social Media...

Ahem... looks like Gamestop in Ireland didn’t get the memo...

Do they? Do you have any numbers to back your claims? Because until proven otherwise, my guess is that if this is widely done across the gaming industry, it’s because it’s beneficial...

If you know where to go, there are actually some really nice places a little off the beaten path...

That’s very impressive :-) Can’t wait to immerse myself in this, but will have to wait until February...

Actually, I notice I forgot to mention something else about P5:

I know, I got you. I just wanted to elaborate a bit more on the idea ;-)

Well, it’s a bit unfair to compare FFXV and P5 anyway, even if they’re both JRPGs: one is the 15th number of one of the most popular series in the world ever, and the other comes from a pretty niche series, so niche it doesn’t even get localized in other languages than English (so there goes your European market...

I think you summed up everything quite perfectly.

In the meantime, Paragon is curled up in a corner crying because nobody cares...

Now that we are all pretty much convinced the NX will be a hybrid machine, it’d better be... this looks like the cleverest move by Nintendo in a long time (finally)... hello disappointment if that weren’t the case ;-)

I doubt it won’t be, though...

You know, most of the time, bad QA is actually “Not enough time” QA. On some games I worked on, you would be amazed by the absurd quantity of text that was never triggered in game.

What has me a little puzzled, here, though, is the fact that strings never seen were not localized at all.. I mean, usually, you get pretty

I was a games QA Tester (I’m still a tester, but not in games anymore), and, honestly, sometimes I felt a bit conflicted by my job... Removing crashes or things that really ruin your fun, yeah, great... but sometimes, we had to report some bugs, which, quite honestly, were really fun :)

Many people buy games without knowing any of the games behind them. The guy can certainly work in any studio that will sell you games, and you won’t know he’s involved...

“Sometimes pre-orderers and day1 purchasers know exactly what they are getting themselves into.”

Exactly. I’ve done few Day 1 purchases. Sometimes I was glad I did (Destiny), sometimes I wasn’t so happy (SFV). I never complained, because after all, it was my choice to trust a studio to deliver something great. If they
