Let’s be real here: it was never worth what he paid for it

Came here to say this. What was actually wrong with that question? Might this be one of the most appropriate human interactions the man has ever had?

The headline and subheading are very confusing since they basically say that semiglutide is just as effective as semiglutide. I had to get midway through the first paragraph to figure out that the study was comparing two different routes of administration for the same drug.

If TikTok is a significant part of anyone’s life, they have have some very, very poor choices.

Oh come on, that’s far too concise and comprehensible.  How can you ever get to a upper level management position if THAT’s the kind of mission statement you come up with?  ;-)

Looks like I’m about to get screwed. I’ve had a free Hulu account for five years, after I signed up for a promotion through Spotify that combined Hulu and Spotify into a single package. All I had to do was keep paying my monthly Spotify fee and Hulu was 100% free. I don’t even have a CC attached to my account. I

As I understand it there is no center to a singularity. The point to a singularity is kind of that it’s a singular point of infinitesimal (or essentially no) size as tom.blersch was touching on. However, there is a center to the event horizon, and that center is the singularity. What you’re looking at when you see a

Plus, uh, Barrett getting confirmed in late October 2020 after millions of people had already voted in a presidential election—an election that would oust the man who nominated her—is just an eternal stain on this woman’s tenure.

There was a time I was buying a new leather jacket. I picked one out and Mrs Lizardo said “no. It looks just like the old one.” In my mind, that was a feature, not a bug.

A CUV is a shittier version of a wagon. Taller, worse mpgs, can hold less stuff, etc. I get that wagons aren’t in fashion anymore, but they’re measurably better at most things than a CUV is. Every soccer mom driving around in an empty Escalade/Suburban/X7/Yukon/Grand Wagoneer really just needs a wagon.

I can’t say that I take the farthest spot possible, but I do grab basically the first one I see.  My wife will often make 3 trips up and down the rows of parking before deciding on a spot.  I’d literally be in the store by the time she slides the gear shift to P.

Can we please discuss the fact that “Ermnmusk” could phonetically be pronounced as “ermine musk” because I am weirld fascinated at that choice.

This is more or less how things have been all along. This is something like the 20th iteration of Starship, and a bunch of the prior versions have exploded too. Shotwell, the President of SpaceX, has been pretty open that their development model comes with the expectation of a high rate of failure, so they can learn

That’s the huge difference here, is the difference in testing tolerance between SpaceX and more NASA-strictured companies. SpaceX can test to destruction more often.

Should’ve parked a Cyber  Truck there to show how tough it really is :-)

Might not want to mount your Jet Engine to a wooden frame.

I’m no fan of T or Elon. But I am genuinely curious. Do people hate Elon more or care more about transitioning reliance to sustainable energy? I personally know some very liberal folks who despise Elon so much now, they want nothing to do with him, but years ago they despised VW for diesel gate, they love Greta

Close. It implies that there used to be multiple types of tank. MBTs were a consolidation mostly of medium and heavy tanks into one tank, with a few light tanks left over.

And I mean, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump in 2020 for that matter. Sorry not sorry but at all of their ages the potential for rapid cognitive decline that people in their inner circle would seek to cover up is high enough that I didn’t want any of them controlling the nuclear codes.

See? All those thoughts and prayers DID work!
