The price to replace the battery pack on my Prius was enough that I junked the car instead. Made better fiscal sense to just buy a new car.

It says so in the source article: Steelman sold the car while waiting for the title from I Drive-DFW, which he never got, because I Drive-DFW says he never owned the car. So the kid never had the title either.

I always view those skirt deflectors as an opportunity to give my boots a quich shine.

It definitely makes me curious about the case the prosecutor presented for “extreme indifference.” In nothing I’ve read about the case do I see extreme indifference...but I haven’t read the trial transcripts.

What you describe, while different in scale, is equivalent in process to planning an amphibious invasion in World War 2.

Thanks for this.  I’ve lost count of how many arguments I’ve had with “follow the science” types who don’t know that fomite transmission of COVID was solidly debunked in April of this year.  

There’s also certain cult-like elements to Epstein’s operation (no doubt manipulation and a measure of isolation and brainwashing was used to manage his “harem” of victims). And while cult victims usually have my personal sympathies, they also tend to be held legally responsible for their actions to at least a limited…

Would have been a more meaningful apology if it wasn’t preceded by a lengthy temper tantrum. I.e.
