Point of note: the US didn’t firebomb Dresden. The Brits did.

I study WWII pretty thoroughly, including the rise of the Third Reich. Had an opportunity, in an antique store in VA a few years ago, to buy a genuine SA ceremonial dagger - was able to establish it’s authenticity with the manufacturer’s stamp and serial number.
And the degree to which people prioritize “not driving” (e.g. texting on their cell phones) over “driving.”
The difference is that NTHSA is responsible for failures of standard equipment, but they are manifestly not responsible for putting idiots behind the wheel.
Not dissimilar - cats and children are both out of the house by 18.
Then cancel your phone plan, and eat ramen for the next five years.
Because most kids WILL have an accident the first year.
Most G/O Media articles, really.
For a guy who swore to find his wife’s killer, he seems rather...disinterested...in that pursuit.
As a teen, I insisted the best first car was a white 1977 Delta 88 convertible with longhorn bull horns as a hood ornament.
I find it pretty easy to believe...in that I believe the cop is accurately describing what he believes he saw.
Genuinely surprised at no Disneyfied idiots getting out of their cars to pet the beast.
And I’m also pretty sure that’s not what the route from Pittsburgh to Atlantic City looks like though I admit, it’s been a while since I made that drive.
I didn’t say it was a verbal contract. I said some asshole will claim it was a verbal contract when they don’t get their car, and the dealership doesn’t want that headache.
Fucking Fast and Furious movies have a lot to answer for. If you want to race, take it to a track.
You haven’t got your COVID shot yet, have you?
Because someone’s going to not get their car because someone else bought it, and argue that despite the stipulation they had a “verbal” contract and now the dealer owes them a free car or something. Basically...because it’s a pain in the ass.
My wife and I can both drive stick. She’s probably better at it than I am.
Yep, this. It “applies”, because it’s a seller’s market, and they don’t want to commit to a price in a hot market. Because between the time they send the quote, and the time you arrive to buy the car, they might get a better offer.
