“Better times to come?”  Or “Gigli II?”

I’m still confused at what part of “contract” they don’t understand.

Throw money at problems.  It’s the American way.

4) The technology probably came from Boeing, anyway.

With the exception that most dealers will want to “establish a relationship” to encourage the buyer to come back to have their car serviced.

Legally a machine gun, technically not a machine gun (a “machine gun” fires full-powered cartridges. An automatic weapon firing pistol rounds is a “submachine gun.”)

Scarier.  Submachine guns are easier to conceal.

Because back then journalists were journalists.

Plenty of them out on the internet.

Yep. It was originally “duck tape,” as it was made from cotton duck. In it’s current form - waterproof, pressure-sensitive adhesive, can be torn by hand - it was invented in 1943, to seal ammunition cases for amphibious assaults.

Generally, I’d expect auto and home to fight over who’s loss it is...the loser of that fight getting to recover what they pay out from GM. And GM will pay - the insurance payout is a rounding error on their balance sheet.

How in the hell is this only a “labor law” issue? I see multiple instances of assault and kidnapping in this write-up alone.

I’ve changed the plugs on all the cars I’ve ever owned, and never found it difficult.  Worst was my Prius, which required a long hemostat to remove the old plugs from the block...but that was still easier than trying to change the goddamn car battery in that car.

It’s figured walnut, no less.

I had one as a teen.  Very tall kid, outgrew the twin mattress...and my dad discovered that the waterbed was a substantially cheaper option than an extra-long coil spring.

Unreal. I’m sure the city that bombed itself and destroyed a whole city block took the time to gather proper consent forms...

Who’s Tucker?

I’m only highlighting the hypocrisy of a certain segment of America that believes in globalism until its inconvenient.

“We want globalism!  No, not that globalism...and not that globalism either.”

The definition of solitude: Michael Collins is the only person, alive or dead, not in this photograph.
