the Kinect isn't outdated, it has double the Capabilities of the Kinect 1.0 that was for the 360. the Kinect 2 doesn't use scattered dot fields and can now recognize upto 6 people…

not gonna lie, a $400 1TB, optical drive-less version of the XboxOne sounds like the right point to get me interested in owning this system. as of right now, i'm worried to buy in when there's only a 500 GB hard drive and launch games are clocking in at 30GB and above.
